10,000 Maniacs - MTV Unplugged (Expanded Edition)

Originally released in 1993, and their final release with lead singer Natalie Merchant before she embarked on her solo career, 10,000 Maniacs live acoustic performance on the historic program MTV Unplugged became the best-selling record of their career. Now available on vinyl for the first time, the newly remastered album showcases some of the band's best-loved songs and has been expanded to include three tracks from the performance not included on the original release: covers of Iris DeMent’s “Let The Mystery Be,” Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” and Jimmie Dale Gilmore’s “Dallas”, all featuring Talking Heads' David Byrne.

Highlights include the hits “Trouble Me,” “These Are Days,” and “Candy Everybody Wants,” fan favourites “Stockton Gala Day,” “Hey Jack Kerouac,” and “Like The Weather”, and the band’s hit version of Patti Smith and Bruce Springsteen’s “Because The Night.”
