Alanis Morissette - Under Rug Swept (Music On Vinyl)

Alanis Morissette returned in 2002 with Under Rug Swept, her 3rd studio album for Maverick Records. The album features the raw emotion that has made her one of music's most popular and recognizable artists. Under Rug Swept was her first studio album in four years, following 1998's "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie". It featured the singles "Hands Clean", "21 Things I Want In a Lover" and "Precious Illusions".

With Under Rug Swept, Morissette brought back the sound of Jagged Little Pill, a lush, dense layering of loops, guitars, keyboards, and vocals that makes her songs incredibly catchy. While sounding really good, the music flows, the production shines in its subtleties, it’s pleasingly melodic, tempering the extremities of Jagged Little Pill while retaining character.
