In 1968 Blue Cheer's Vincebus Eruptum shattered eardrums and minds. These early pioneers of heavy metal were rumoured to be one of the LOUDEST bands of the day. Named after a variety of LSD, the band made a small but mighty mark on the trajectory of music.

After the 60s ended, Blue Cheer were always in flux, disbanding and returning in every decade following. This compilation, titled Junk, takes some of their later material and includes the final live performance of “Summertime Blues” with Dickie Peterson from 2008, along with seven studio cover songs from the ‘90s.
