Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J. is the 1973 debut studio album by Bruce Springsteen. His first album was an intriguing introduction to Springsteen's distinctive gift for Dylan-esque lyrical wordplay. The lead track "Blinded By The Light" later became a chart-topper for Manfred Mann's Earth Band, while songs like "For You" and "Spirit In The Night" remain staples of Springsteen's live act.
