Donna Summer - I'm A Rainbow: Recovered & Recoloured (Clear Vinyl)

It's September 1981 and we're weeks away from the release of the Giorgio Moroder produced 'I'm A Rainbow' - Donna Summer's second record for Geffen Records. After 'The Wanderer', the label wanted a more R&B-influenced album, and despite the strength of the new songs, and Donna's voice having never sounded better, 'I'm A Rainbow' was cancelled just prior to it's release.

Eventually issued on CD in 1996, the album now gets a fresh coat of paint 40 years later with 'I'm A Rainbow - Recovered & Recoloured' - a 15-track, completely re-imagined album featuring a host of international producers from North and South America, Europe and Scandinavia. Junior Vasquez, Le Flex, Figo Sound, Jean Tonique, Ladies On Mars and Oliver Nelson have all added their touch. This double vinyl LP also includes two radio edits and three extended mixes. Featuring "I Believe In You", "You To Me", and "Brooklyn".
