Green Day - Dookie

Take one part Ramones, one part Buzzcocks, and one part Husker Du, and you've got the basic foundation of Green Day, a punky, witty, melodic San Francisco Bay area trio who became overnight stars in 1994 when this album became a global smash. The album features the singles "Basket Case" and "When I Come Around".

If anything worthwhile rose out of the ashes of Woodstock's 1994 rehash, it was the explosion of this trio. Billie Jo, Mike and Tre carry on as America's Olympic champion punk provocateurs, undaunted in the new millennium.

Heavyweight vinyl produced by Reprise Records in 2008. Remastered using the original analog source tapes.
