John Coltrane Quartet - Ballads (2022 Edition)

A giant of modern jazz, John Coltrane played with many music icons in his time, most notably with Miles Davis. He inspired and influenced many younger musicians with his distinctive and often adventurous playing. On 1963's Ballads, he plays as a quartet with McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison and Elvin Jones. This quartet was formed in 1961.
