Recorded in here-and-there studio spurts over the last two years, Lucy's "2019" is made up of originals and cover songs tied to specific holidays. Song were released digitally as 2019 rolled along Valentine's Day and so forth. The 7 track EP ends with her revved up rendition of Wham's "Last Christmas". Pitchfork gave the EP a glowing review stating "The singer-songwriter, inspired by seven national holidays (including Bruce Springsteen's birthday), finds love, death, and wry humor in a few spectacular originals and a collection of covers."
