By 1995, Madonna had become more notorious for her controversies than her music. Recognizing this, she decided to release a collection of her most popular ballads. Many of these were smash #1 singles like "This Used To Be My Playground", "I'll Remember" and "Live To Tell". She also chose to record some new songs like the David Foster produced "You'll See" and she even collaborated with Massive Attack on a sensual cover of Marvin Gaye's "I Want You". As a reminder to her critics, in the liner notes she says "It's always been about the music". Something to remember indeed!
Heavyweight vinyl. Remastered by Rhino Records in 2016. Originally released November 1995.
