Miles Davis - Miles In The Sky (Music On Vinyl)

Miles Davis' legendary 1968 album Miles In The Sky features several jazz icons like Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, George Benson and Tony Williams. This often overlooked masterpiece is Miles' venture into the jazz-rock, which later became known as fusion.

While working together with his second great quintet - his interest in the usage of electric instruments was increasing every day. The album shows different stages of Davis's evolution from acoustic jazz to electric fusion music due to the fact that the music comes from different session dates.
