This Note's for You is the 16th studio album by Canadian / American musician Neil Young, released on April 11, 1988 on Reprise. It was originally credited to "Young and the Bluenotes."

Neil Young's 7th studio album 'Zuma" was released on Reprise Records in November 1975. Co-credited to Crazy Horse, it includes "Cortez the Killer," one of Young's best known songs.

Recorded over one night in 1976, 'Hitchhiker' is an acoustic snapshot of Neil Young’s creative process, captured at a time when he was crafting music strong enough to last his whole career. It remained unreleased until 2017.
