The Singles 1992-2003 celebrates the first decade of hits from No Doubt including favourites like "Just a Girl", "Spiderwebs", "Don't Speak", "Hella Good", "Underneath It All" and their popular cover of Talk Talk's "It's My Life".
Unlike the grunge and indie bands that populated the first two waves of the alt-rock explosion of the early '90s, No Doubt wasn't directly inspired by punk, indie, or any underground rock movement; the band was fueled by new wave, in all of its trashy, poppy glory. Above all, No Doubt were inspired by ska revival groups like Madness, with their blend of skittish Jamaican-inspired beats and sense of English popcraft, but they also picked up various strands of early-MTV pop, whether it was bits of new wave Blondie, The Police, and Elvis Costello.
Heavyweight double vinyl produced by Interscope Records in 2024. Includes 12-page booklet with lyrics, liner notes and photos.
