Sam Smith - In The Lonely Hour: Drowning Shadows Edition

In the Lonely Hour is the debut studio album by English recording artist Sam Smith. In the United States, it was released on June 17, 2014. The album includes the hit singles "Money on My Mind" and "Stay with Me," both of which were number one in the UK; the latter becoming a hit worldwide, peaking in the top ten in over ten countries, including reaching number two in the US.

In the Lonely Hour: Drowning Shadows Edition features cover tracks including "How Will I Know?" (Whitney Houston), and "Love Is A Losing Game" (Amy Winehouse). Guest artists include Mary J. Blige (Stay With me), A$AP Rocky (I'm Not the Only One), and John Legend (Lay Me Down).

The re-imagined album includes the new song "Drowning Shadows", written by Sam Smith and Fraser T. Smith. Also included are acoustic versions of "Latch" and "Omen", which are collaborations with electronic duo Disclosure, and a live version of "Latch" recorded at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Heavyweight double vinyl produced by Capitol Records in 2023.
