Spoon - Kill The Moonlight (2020)

Kill the Moonlight has a stylistic range and emotional depth far beyond that of Spoon's previous work. No longer rooted in a strict guitar-bass-drum format, the band's increased use of keyboards, studio effects and self-created samples are in stark contrast to the more traditionalist, Girls Can Tell (also recently reissued!). The common thread here is the instantly memorable and impossible to shake songs.
