Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Stone Temple Pilots' debut album Core with this first-ever expanded deluxe vinyl edition featuring demos, live recordings and more. Run Out Groove, Warner Music's specialty vinyl imprint, deliver this exclusive 4LP deluxe edition of the iconic album.

Core: 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition features the original album as a 2LP set, plus two additional LPs featuring 18 demos and live performances which are all making their vinyl debut. The deluxe edition comes in a hardbound slipcase featuring an exclusive poster of the album art.

All the recordings on LP3 and LP4 have never been released on vinyl before. Of the nine demos included, four were recorded between 1987 and 1990 when the band was known as Mighty Joe Young. One of those, "Only Dying", is a song the band had planned to re-record in 1994 for The Crow Soundtrack. The idea was later scrapped after the star of the film, Brandon Lee, was killed during production.

The third LP concludes with five unreleased demos from their original Atlantic sessions. The fourth and final LP contains a scorching live recording from Castaic Lake Natural Amphitheater near Los Angeles from July 2, 1993, which features performances of nearly every track from Core.

A dominant force in rock music since the early ‘90s, Stone Temple Pilots proved to be one of the most accomplished and iconic bands of their generation, racking up 15 Billboard Top 10 singles - 6 of which topped the charts - and total sales of 35 million albums worldwide.

Exclusive 30th Anniversary quadruple vinyl edition produced by Run Out Groove for Atlantic Records in 2022. Remastered by Chris Bellman in 2017. Lacquers cut by JJ Golden of Golden Mastering in 2022. This limited edition will never be produced again.
