Stone Temple Pilots - Core (Recycled Vinyl)

With their debut album, the socially-charged Core, San Diego's Stone Temple Pilots deliver a hard-hitting grunge record that delves into dark lyrical territory, driven home by Scott Weiland's powerful vocals.The album features the singles "Sex Type Thing", "Plush", "Wicked Garden" and "Creep".

Stone Temple Pilots wanted to to revive the album-oriented music approach of the 1970s with Core. The type of record that fans would play front to back. Striving to create an intense and emotional sound, Scott Weiland has said that the main theme of the album is that humanity is confused, with songs like "Sex Type Thing" and "Naked Sunday" dealing with social injustice.

Limited Edition RECYCLED COLOUR vinyl produced by Atlantic Records in 2023 for their 'Atlantic 75' campaign.

This special edition is pressed on recycled colour vinyl that reuses material and clippings from previous pressings. The result is that each vinyl is unique with its own colour combination therefore the colour of each packaged album will be randomized.
