The 1975 - I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful...

As well as having a mouthful of a title, the 1975's sophomore album, I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful, Yet So Unaware of It, is the kind of ambitious, self-indulgent album that either marks a grand misstep by a fledgling band, or the start of something big. In their case, it's the later. The album is full of 80s synth throwbacks with an adult contemporary aesthetic. Beautifully executed with singles like "Somebody Else", "Love Me", "The Sound" and "Change Of Heart"

The album has been considered by various publications as one of the best albums of the 2010s. NME placed it at number 6 on their list of the Best Albums of The Decade. Additionally, Stereogum placed it at number 61 on their list of the 100 best albums of the 2010s. Pitchfork placed it at number 161 on their list of the 200 Best Albums of the 2010s and Billboard placed it at number 82 on their list of the 100 Greatest Albums of the 2010s.
