At Fillmore East, as the title indicates, was recorded in March of 1971 at the legendary New York based venue, Fillmore East, and features The Allman Brothers Band performing extended jam versions of several songs such as the iconic 23 minute version of "Whipping Post", "Statesboro Blues", and "In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed".

The Allman Brothers Band At Fillmore East has been described as one of the greatest double live albums of all time. In terms of capturing the sheer magic, myth and momentum of  the band at the very peak of their powers of jam-hot experimentation, At Fillmore East has precious few peers.
