Hot Rocks 1964-1971 is the first compilation album of Rolling Stones music released by former manager Allen Klein's ABKCO Records (who gained control of the band's Decca/London material in 1970) after the band's departure from Decca and Klein.
Released in late 1971, Hot Rocks proved to be The Rolling Stones' biggest-selling release of their career and an enduring and popular retrospective as it really is the perfect capture of this formative era. Hot Rocks came out at the Rolling Stones' absolute creative peak and it's 21 tracks represent seven years worth of rock 'n' roll history. It features many of the band's best known singles like "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", "Wild Horses", "Brown Sugar", "Time Is On My Side" and many more.
Heavyweight double vinyl pressed ABKO Records in 2022. Remastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering. Lacquers cut at Abbey Road Studios by Sean Magee. Gatefold sleeve.
