Teskey Brothers - Half Mile Harvest

Half Mile Harvest is the debut studio album by Australian indie rhythm and blues rock band The Teskey Brothers. It features the singles "Pain and Misery", "Crying Shame" and "I Get Up". Josh and Sam Teskey grew up in Warrandyte and met Brendon Love and Liam Gough and formed the Teskey Brothers in 2008.

Half Mile Harvest honours an old school Motown sound while working it into something of their very own. Recorded all live to tape, the record is a warm experience of blues guitars, irresistible grooves and soulful melodies. Lead singer Josh Teskey’s smoked whiskey vocal tone is so legit you’d be forgiven for assuming he was Stax Records alumni in Memphis circa ‘67 rather than a twenty-something from the Yarra Valley just outside Melbourne.
