The Who's soundtrack album The Kids Are Alright features stunning live and rare versions of "My Generation", "I Can't Explain", "I Can See for Miles", "Baba O'Riley" and many others. It's the legendary companion album to the band's classic documentary film of the same name from 1979. The album serves as a retrospective look at the band's biggest hits throughout their career to the point it was released. Most of the tracks are live recordings, rather that the original studio versions.
The album artwork features one of the most iconic rock images on the front cover: Art Kane's shot of the band draped in the Union Jack flag.
Heavyweight double vinyl produced by MCA Records in 2020. Remastered by Jon Astley at Close To The Edge Mastering. Lacquers cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. Gatefold sleeve.
