The Trans-Canada Highwaymen is a super group consisting of Moe Berg, Chris Murphy, Craig Northey and Steven Page . In keeping with their credo, “Play the hits!”, “The Trans-Canada Highwaymen Explosive Hits Vol. 1” is an album of Canadian classics from 1969-1975 including “Undun" (The Guess Who), "Pretty Lady” (Lighthouse), "Tonite is a Wonderful Time to Fall in Love” (April Wine) and "Lovin’ You Ain‘t Easy” (Michel Pagliaro).
The songs from that era and the packaging they’ve created are an homage to the K-Tel compilation records of the 1970’s. And you know what Vol. 1 means…
This vinyl edition produced by Pheromone Recordings in 2024.
